چکیده

Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is characterized primarily by the buildup of beta-amyloid plaques and tau proteins. It a very common neurodegenerative disease that marked cognitive decline, neuronal synaptic loss. AD pathology not fully understood there currently no cure. The terminal devastates lives many. Stem cell therapy involves use stem cell’s properties regeneration repair to reverse damage many diseases. application seems have promise mitigate onset AD. Animal models displayed effectiveness towards improving performance promoting neurogenesis. abilities applications seem be highly promising despite having bottlenecks. difficulties in controlling differentiation due complexities process primary issue presented. With for AD, it also possible adapt technology various other diseases overall.

P137: Stem Cell Therapy in Alzheimer’s Disease

Alzheimer disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative brain disorder which plays an important role in neural cell destruction and as a result it causes memory loss in the patients. This disease is also the most common type of dementia which doesn’t completely respond to medical treatments so no certain cure is available. Recent studies show the advantages of using stem cells (SCs) in ...

Degenerative Disc Disease: A Review of Cell Technologies and Stem Cell Therapy

Background & Aim: Low back pain is broadly documented as one of the most widespread pathologies in the advanced domain. Although the reasons of low back pain are uncountable, it has been meaningfully related to intervertebral disc degeneration. Present therapies for Intervertebral Disc (IVD) degeneration such as physical therapy and spinal fusion reduce symptoms' severity, but do not treat the ...

Potential of Neural Stem Cell-Based Therapy for Parkinson's Disease

Neural stem cell (NSC) transplantation is an emerging strategy for restoring neuronal function in neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's disease (PD), which is characterized by a profound and selective loss of nigrostriatal dopaminergic (DA) neurons. Adult neurogenesis generates newborn neurons that can be observed at specialized niches where endothelial cells (ECs) play a significant role...

Strategies to Improve Homing of Stem Cells to achieve better Efficacy in Stem Cell Therapy

Stem/progenitor cell based therapeutic approach in our daily routine clinical practice, has been elusive dream in medical sciences and improvement of stem cell homing as one of major challenges in cell therapy programs, has been considered a promising milestone. It has been proved that stem/progenitor cells exhibit a homing response to injured tissues/organs, mediated by interactions of chemoki...
